New landscapes need at least three years of regular irrigation in order to establish a solid root system. However, with our ever-drier summers, even the most mature landscapes need help staying watered. All of our designs are created with an assumed irrigation system and all installations performed by Knotwood require some type of system to preserve your investment.

20 years ago hardline irrigation systems were expensive and disruptive to established landscapes. Now, with new technology, micro-irrigation has become accessible to almost every homeowner. Half inch poly tubing connects to a spigot, hose, or home mainline (with a variety of connectors, backflows, and pressure reducers) and provides a low pressure water supply to adjustable and customizable micro-emitters, driplines, foggers, soakers, and more.
